On the island of Suhail, you
will recognize the immortal Nubian culture. Sohail Island contains many of the
religious monuments made by Ancient Egyptians to worship the goddess of water, Onukit, while
they used the quarries to extract the Aswan granite.
You can visit the traditional Nubian
houses, watch crocodiles, get a henna tattoo of the local community, or ride a
camel.
